Absences need to be cleared by a telephone call from a parent/guardian the day of each absence, or a note brought by the student the next school day. Students should clear their absence(s) immediately, so a phone call by parent is preferred.
Students who arrive late or miss school due to doctor/dentist appointments must bring verification of that appointment from the doctor or dentist.
All students coming to school late or leaving early must sign out through the Attendance Office.
Class Attendance
Students are expected to be on time to class with appropriate study materials (pencil, paper, notebook, textbook, etc) and ready to begin work when class begins. Tardies, absences, and truancies may result in one or more of the following actions:
o Student conference
o Parent notification
o Parent/administrator conference
o Detention
o Suspension/placement in alternative school setting
